Director of programs Paul Delacourt demonstrates his vast experience in crisis management.

Today serving as the director of programs at Red River Technology in Fairfax County, Virginia, Paul Delacourt is a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent with decades of crisis management experience. Delacourt has demonstrated his crisis management knowledge in a variety of roles, both in law enforcement and working in the private sector.

Until recently, Paul Delacourt had employed his crisis management expertise as the assistant director of the Strategic Realignment Program Management Office at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. “It was a demanding role but one that I’m honored to have held,” says Delacourt, who’s still a proud resident of the bustling U.S. capital city.

For the three years prior, he served as the assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles field office. Here, Delacourt’s knowledge of crisis management was, he says, again called upon with great regularity.

After 25 years in the law enforcement field, Paul Delacourt retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation in May 2021 after a long and distinguished career. That career began in 1995, he goes on to explain, when he was assigned to the FBI’s Chicago Division, working predominantly on gang and drug investigations in the famous Windy City.

“I later transferred to the agency’s counter-terrorism program,” says the retired special agent, “and was deployed to Afghanistan, Qatar, and Iraq, before subsequently returning to the U.S. and taking on further roles in Georgia, Hawaii, and elsewhere.”

Headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, Red River Technology is a prominent provider of the tools necessary to harness the power of technology to improve how its clients do business.

“We boast industry-leading technical know-how,” says Delacourt, who’s now been with the firm for six months. “This is thanks to the strategic partnerships that have allowed Red River Technology to become the number one choice for a broad range of clients in both the commercial and federal markets,” he adds.

Delacourt is celebrated among his peers for his demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams with strategic vision via diplomacy and critical thinking. He’s also renowned for his unsurpassed communication skills and an inherent ability to maintain high standards of integrity, accountability, and compliance across the board.

Paul Delacourt was born in Detroit, Michigan, later growing up in the southeasternmost portion of the state. A graduate of the Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan, from where he has a Bachelor of Arts degree, he also holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School.
